Situated in a very attractive area from a tourist point of view, there are many places that can be visited just a few kilometres away from the hotel:

- Historic set of Monuments of Roncesvalles/Orreaga: 2.5 km. The former pilgrims’ hospital, now a collegiate church, is the starting point on the Pilgrims’ Route to Santiago for many pilgrims and a reference point for so many others.

- Irati Forest: 20 km. One of the most extensive beech and spruce forests in Europe. Its large size enables activities to be carried out such as hiking, trips using segway and 4x4 and bird watching, etc.

- St. Jean-Pied-Port: 30 km. On the French side, this is a beautiful medieval walled town and another of the key points on the Pilgrims’ Route to Santiago.

- Valleys of Salazar (Ochagavía) and Roncal (Isaba), Gorges of Lumbier: heading a little further afield, we may enjoy these marvellous valleys by taking strolls around any of their towns, or visiting the Monument to Julián Gayarre or the Gorges Interpretation Centre.
